Remote access for NetZero emails

NetZero Message Center is a free-to-use business solution designed to let Netzero email users manage their messages anywhere. Read and respond to messages, reconfigure your mailing lists, or change your settings. As an email management tool to keep you connected, its inbox temporarily stores the messages until you reopen your main email software.

With an intuitive layout plus a comprehensive Help section, NetZero Message Center is a big help for users who need constant access to their mail regardless of where they are. Use your NetZero with other mailing systems such as Mailbird or Microsoft Outlook.

Access and respond to emails everywhere

As mentioned, the NetZero Message Center is offered as an additional service to NetZero account owners. Instead of installing the main app and downloading all the emails, this serves as a remote portal where users can access their emails. It comes with most features, too. Read and respond to emails, automatically forward mails, change mailing lists, and more. You can quickly deploy it and use it with any internet-connected device.

Since it works as a part of the NetZero environment, all emails go through the central system. What this app does is that it lets you access the emails without the need to store all of them on your temporary device. All content in your Message Center Inbox stays until you check your mail with either your email app or the NetZero software, after which the remote copies are removed.

Still, the level of services that come with this tool depends on your subscription. MegaMail users, for example, only have 2 GB of storage while MegaMail Plus users get up to 5 GB. For free users, they can use the Message Center but must check in at least once every 60 days, or risk getting their accounts set to Inactive status.

A tool for accessibility and convenience

The NetZero Message Center offers a convenient remote portal for accessing and responding to emails without needing to download them to your device. It provides essential features like reading, responding, forwarding emails, and managing mailing lists. This service is integrated into the NetZero system, with email storage and access levels varying by subscription tier, ensuring flexible and efficient email management for users on the go.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
